NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City
of Pleasanton hereby resolves that this submittal
be continued until the regular meeting of
September 25, 1968.
8. CONAIITNICATIONS
a. Secretary Castro advised the Commission that a joint meeting between the
Planning Commission and the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, had
been set for October 10, 1968, time and meeting place to be advised later.
b. The joint meeting of the Planning Commissions of the Cities of Livermore
and Pleasanton, has been firmed up for Wednesday, September 18, 1968,
9. TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAPS
a. Tract 2892 (Longview)
Generally that property lying 2,500 ft. south of the Bernal Avenue-
Poothill Road intersection and located on the west aide of Foothill Road,
said development containing 24 lots.
Chairman Antonini opened the Public Rearing. Secretary Castro advised the
Commission that a Subdivision Meeting was held on September 4, 1968, with
the representatives of Dr. Long present to discuss the new maps. Assistant
Planner Aiello attended that meeting and it was Mr. Castro's understanding
in discussing this matter with Mr. Aiello and Mr. Jack Boatedt, that the
road pattern for the area had been resolved, which would combine Plan A
and Plan B of the submittals. As far as he was aware, the question he
had was only on the road easements for the egress and ingress to Lots 10
and 11. Mr. Castro disapproved of the design as submitted. Both Chairman
Antonini and Commissioner Pia to felt that this matter should not have
come before the Planning Commission but should have been settled at
the Subdivision Committee Meeting.
Mr. Ted Fairfield of the firm of MacKay & Somps, representing Dr. Long,
was present, and was under the impression that an agreement regarding the
roadway had been reached by Dr. Long and Mr. McLeod. Attorney Lee Amaral,
who represents Mr. McLeod, was not present at the meeting, and because
of these factors, it was decided that this matter not be discussed any
further at that time.
Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and
carried, the Public Hearing was closed. UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINL,
SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED
BY UNANIMOUS VOTE.
RESOLUTION N0. 817
