COMMUNICATIONS <br />Secretary Castro referred to the invitation from the Pleasanton Valley Homeowners <br />Association for the Commissioners to hear Mr. Angus Wynne, President of the Great <br />Southwest Corporation speak on his "Six Flags" development on October 24, 1968, <br />at 8:00 PM, in the Multi-Purpose Room of Walnut Grove School. <br />9. TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAPS <br />a. Tract 2892 (LOnrtview) <br />Generally that property lying 2,500 ft. south of the Bernal Avenue-Foothill Road <br />intersection and located on the west side of Foothill Road, said development <br />containing 24 lots. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the Public Hearing. Mr. Lee Amaral, attorney for Mr. McLeod <br />and Mr. Ted Fairfield, representing Dr. Long were present, and advised the <br />Commission that an agreement in principle had been arrived at by the two parties. <br />Mr. Fairfield requested that Conditions 1, 3 and 6 be modified to read as listed <br />under the conditions for approval. There were no questions or objections from the <br />audience, and upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, <br />and carried, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />UPON MOTION OF COlDIISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, THE FOLLOWING <br />RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 820 <br />WHEREAS, Tract 2892 (Longview), generally that property <br />lying 2,500 ft. south of the Bernal Avenue-Foothill <br />Road intersection and located on the west side of <br />Foothill Road, said development containing 24 lots, <br />has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Tentative Tract Map 2892 (Longview) be approved <br />as described on Exhibit A, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. A grading plan for the public improvements in this <br />tract be submitted to the City Engineer for approval <br />together with the final map and improvement plans. <br />2. A more detailed study should be made and provided <br />to the City Engineer and Planning Department con- <br />cerning the development of this property in relation <br />to the properties surrounding it. This study should <br />specifically include probable locations of future <br />streets from the McLeod property so that grade breaks <br />might be provided in the profile of Longview Court and <br />Longview Drive for any probable intersecting streets. <br />This study should be completed prior to submittal of a <br />final map and improvement plans. <br />3. The 1000-ft. _+ portion of Longview Road beginning <br />at Foothill Road be constructed to residential collector <br />cross section ultimately (50 ft.R/W) before transition- <br />ing into the hillside standards. <br />- 6 - <br />
