Mr. Castro further stated that a continuance would be proper because of the <br />proposal to amend the zoning ordinance on convalescent hospitals and rest <br />homes. <br />Another communication was received from Mr. Carl Walter, basically restating <br />the objections he had made in a previous letter. <br />Chairman Antonini suggested continuance of the item. Commissioner Arnold <br />suggested putting off a decision until completion of the joint study session <br />and the zoning ordinance amendment. <br />Mr. Wendschlag was at the Planning Commission meeting and agreed to go along <br />with a continuance for three weeks until the next regular meeting on <br />November 13, 1968. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner <br />Gibbs, and carried, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER PLATO, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, AND <br />CARRIED, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 824 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Dorothy N. Johnson to rezone <br />that property as described in Map Book 946, <br />Block 2528, a portion of Parcel 6 containing <br />4.01 acres commonly known as 3574 Vineyard <br />Avenue from a R-1 (Single Family) District <br />to a RM- (Multiple Family) District, has <br />come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby resolves that said <br />application shall be continued for three weeks <br />to the next regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission on November 13, 1968. <br />8. COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. A letter was received from MacKay & Somps requesting an extension of Tentative <br />Tract Map iF2905, Arroyo del Prado, for their client Mackay Homes, which <br />expires on November 21, 1968. <br />UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GIBBS, AND CARRIED, <br />THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS PASSED. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 825 <br />WHEREAS, the application of MacKay & Somps for <br />Mackay Homes for a one-year extension <br />of Tentative Tract Map 4k2905, Arroyo del <br />Prado, has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton hereby grants a <br />one-year extension for Tentative Tract <br />Map #2905, Arroyo del Prado, to expire <br />on November 21, 1969. <br />b. A letter was received from MacKay & Somps requesting an extension of Tentative <br />Tract Map ~~2980, Vintage Hills, for their client Land Development and Invest- <br />ment Company, which expires on November 21, 1968. <br />UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GIBBS, AND CARRIED, <br />THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS PASSED. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 826 <br />WHEREAS, the application of MacKay & Somps for Land <br />Development and Investment Company for a <br />one-year extension of Tentative Tract Map <br />X2980, Vintage Hills, Unit 4~6, has come <br />before this Commission, <br />- 2 - <br />
