Application of the Planning Commission for amendment to Article 10,
Sec. 10.103, "Conditional_Uses " of Zoninf~ Ordinance No. 520
Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance
No. 520, Article 10, "P" Public and Institutional District, Sec. 10.103,
"Conditional Uses," to add subsection M. Convalescent Hospitals, Convalescent
Homes and Rest Homes, said amendment to delete "Nursing Homes" as defined in
Article 5, "RM-Multi-Family Residential Districts," Section 5.103d, "Conditional
Uses."
This amendment is to clearly define the multiple uses. The reasoning behind it
is that too often, when a convalescent hospital application fails, the area is
then zoned for multiple, and there is no recourse but to go multiple units.
Under Article 10.103, the use is clearly defined and cannot be used for anything
but a convalescent hospital, convalescent home or rest home.
Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried,
the Public Hearing was closed.
RESOLUTION N0. 831
WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission
of the City of Pleasanton to amend Zoning
Ordinance No. 520, Article 10, P Public
and Institutional District, Section 10.103,
"Conditional Uses," to add Sub-Section,
"M.
