WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton, has considered Zone Amendment <br />Petition No. 468-12, filed by Kaiser Sand <br />& Gravel to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 520, <br />to rezone from the I-P (Industrial Park) <br />District to the I-G District, that property <br />described as follows: <br />Parcel 2, Block 1250 <br />Assessor's Map Book 946 <br />Town of Pleasanton, <br />of that property fronting on Kaiser Road and <br />the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, <br />containing approximately 60 acres. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on <br />this petition and has examined the pertinent <br />maps, drawings and docwnents and finds that <br />one or more of the following conditions do <br />exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not <br />be contrary to the spirit and intent of <br />the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a <br />more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, thet the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends the modification <br />of said zone change amendment as petitioned, <br />to the City Council from the I-P (Industrial <br />Park) District to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development). <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on <br />the 11th day of December, 1968, by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Carrigan <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Commissioner Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />d. AP-68-4, Ellene Goedert <br />Appeal of the Planning Director's administrative denial of a Home Occupation <br />application by Mrs. Goedert to operate a beauty salon in her home. Chairman <br />Antonini opened the Public Hearing. The applicant was present and again <br />explained her reasons for operating a beauty salon from her home, located at <br />4010 Francisco Street. <br />- 6 - <br />
