WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, has considered Zone Amendment Petition No. 468-12, filed by Kaiser Sand & Gravel to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 520, to rezone from the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the I-G District, that property described as follows: Parcel 2, Block 1250 Assessor's Map Book 946 Town of Pleasanton, of that property fronting on Kaiser Road and the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, containing approximately 60 acres. WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and docwnents and finds that one or more of the following conditions do exist: 1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, 2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest and general welfare, 3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, thet the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends the modification of said zone change amendment as petitioned, to the City Council from the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development). AP-68-4, Ellene Goedert Appeal of the Planning Director's administrative denial of a Home Occupation application by Mrs. Goedert to operate a beauty salon in her home. Chairman Antonini opened the Public Hearing. The applicant was present and again explained her reasons for operating a beauty salon from her home, located at 4010 Francisco Street. - 6 -
