Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and carried, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. RESOLUTION N0. 834 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recoffiaending to the City Council the denial of Zone Change 68-11, filed by E. G. Craig for Qualified Investors, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has considered Zone Amendment Petition No. 68-11, filed by E. G. Craig to amend Sec. 4.102, Zoning Ordinance No.520, to change the zone district designation from A (Agricultural) to a C-N (Commercial Neigh- borhood) District, P (Public and Institutional) District and an 0 (Office) District, on property described as follows: Lot 1039, Tract 2953 or that property commonly known as the southwest corner of Hopyard Road and Las Positas Boulevard containing approximately 5.2 acres. WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and documents and finds that one or more of the following conditions do exist: 1. That the proposed amendment will be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, 2. That the proposed amendment is not in the public interest and general welfare, 3. That the proposed amendment creates a less equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the denial of said zone change amendment as petitioned.
