<br />MINUTE S <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Multi-Purpose Room - Valley View School <br />480 Adams Court <br />December 11, 1968 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at <br />8:30 PM, by Chairman Antonini. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Garrigan <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Commissioner Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />ABSENT <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and carried, <br />the minutes of the meeting of December 11, 1968, were approved as submitted. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Add: 12a - Approval of first phase of Orloff Park - swim pavilion and bath house. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. RZ-68-11 E. G. Craig for Qualified Investors, Inc. <br />To rezone from an A (Agricultural) District to a C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) <br />District, P (Public and Institutional) District and an 0 (Office) District, <br />that property known as Lot 1039, Tract 2953, or more commonly known as the <br />southwest corner of Hopyard Road and Las Positas Boulevard containing approxi- <br />mately 5.2 acres. (Public Hearing continued from November 13, 1968). <br />Chairman Antonini opened the Public Hearing. Planning Director Castro stated <br />that a traffic circulation study had been completed of the vicinity surrounding <br />the proposed property, and it was the opinion of both the Planning Director and <br />the Director of Public Works that the additional traffic circulation generated <br />by the proposed development would not be adverse to the general traffic plan. <br />Mr. E. G. Craig, was in the audience and presented a new plan taking into <br />account the traffic circulation recommendations as noted on the staff report. <br />Mr. Dudley Frost was present and had several comments suggesting caution be <br />exercised in the C-N zoning. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissim er Garrigan, and carried, <br />the Public Hearing was closed. <br />- 1 - <br />
