Oty of Pfeasanton <br />MunicipaJ Facilities Master Plan <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> PHASE I- ORIENTATION <br /> <br />1. Familiarization and Initial Consultation <br /> <br /> We will first meet with City management and staff for an orientation meeting in which <br /> the data needs of the consultant will be identified, project schedules and key <br /> milestone dates established and City partidpation requirements identified. We will <br /> work with City staff, specifically representatives of Planning and Parks and <br /> Community Sen, ices to identify key individuals, interest groups and community <br /> organizations which need to be incorporated into the planning process. We would <br /> also want to have an orientation session with the Staff Advisory Board to initiate the <br /> project with an in-depth review of our methodology and approach. <br /> <br /> It will also be essential that there is a dear understanding between City staff and <br /> the consultant relative to the planning, methedology and project deliverables. To aid <br /> <br /> will be supplements added throughout the project. It will include lists <br /> of contracts, lists of resource documents, project schedule, detailed scope of work, <br /> and an outline of deliverables. <br /> <br />2. Data Collection and Review <br /> <br /> The consultant will gather and analyze existing reports, strategic plans, previous <br /> studies, polides and procedures and other related data to ensure all team members <br /> have a proper perspective of existin baseline information. We will secure the <br /> following City government operational ~ata: current and projected organization charts; <br /> descriptions of responsibilities and adjacency requirements; general plan, capital <br /> improvements budget, existing and projected demographic statistics ;current staffing <br /> levels for all agendes and government units; an inventory of available parking spaces <br /> and workload indicators such as: <br /> <br /> · Clients sewed by agency or department <br /> · Audits/inspections conducted <br /> · Permits issued <br /> · Fees collected <br /> · Properties assessed <br /> · Acres of parks and landscaping sen/iced <br /> · Amount of infrastructure maintained <br /> <br /> We will also identify and obtain relevant documentation from community .group. s and <br /> organizations which presently or potentially may be providers of sen/Ices ,n City <br /> <br /> which may impact the type or level of City Any relevant plan <br /> documents, statistic and program descriptions will be obtained and reviewed.
