To evaluate the existing inventory of munidpal radiities and to access their role in <br /> meeting these present (1990), short term (1995), and long range needs (2010). <br /> <br />4. To prepare a capital improvements implementation plan and estimated budget. <br /> <br />In developing the Master Plan, the consultant will look at four spedtic categories of <br />municipal sewices, including: <br /> <br />a. Cenerai government, i.e., city administrative offices, public safety functions, and <br /> pub ic works. <br /> <br />b. Health and Human Services, i.e., clinics, day care, child development, spedal <br /> housing needs, etc. <br /> <br />c. Parks and Recreation, i.e., parks, playgrounds, senior centers, etc <br /> <br />d. Cultural and Arts, i.e., community performing arts center, little theater, etc. <br /> <br />In developing findin and conclusions related to non-traditional facility types, such as <br />cultural and arts facilities, and certain human services functions, the consultant team will <br />develop a "comparable community criteria". This criteria will be used to evaluate the City <br />of Pleasanton, both today and through build-out with comparable California cities, such as <br />Palo Alto, Walnut Creek, San Rafaet, San Leandro, and Sunnyvale. <br /> <br />Although the need for each of these municipal facility categories will be assessed <br />independently, the final ~::~fi~c and conclusions will be compiled in a single capital <br />improvements plan. The tasks, by project phase, necessary to prepare this Public <br />Facilities Master Plan are detailed in the following scope of work. <br /> <br /> <br />
