b. Stanley-First-Sunol. The Stanley Boulevard-First Street-Sunol Boulevard route from the City's eastern City limits to and including its intersection with the 1-680 interchange southbound off-ramp shall be swept once per week. c. Other Streets. All streets required to be swept not included in subsections 3(a) or 3(b) shall be swept once per month. d. Parking Lots. All parking lots shall be swept two times per month. e. Special Events and Emergency Calls. (1) Non-emergency additional sweeping shall be done as requested by the Director. The Director shall give at least two (2) days notice of the time and place additional sweeping shall be required. Contractor understands that, due to the nature of additional sweeping, the exact time and place may not be able to be described with particularity and Contractor agrees to use his best efforts to conform the necessary additional sweeping to the cleanup purpose for which the additional sweeping has been requested. (2) The Contractor agrees to respond to emergency calls for street sweeping from the Director, the Police Chief, the Fire Chief, and any of their designees. The Contractor shall accept, and respond to emergency calls at any and all times during the day and night every day during the term of this Agreement. Response time for emergency calls shall be no more than two (2) hours. f. Within sixty (60) days of the execution of this Agreement, the contractor shall develop its sweeping schedule. The sweeping schedule shall be submitted to the Director as shall any subsequent change of sweeping schedule. A monthly report shall be submitted to City Manager stating what streets were swept and when the sweeping was completed for each work day of the month. g. When inclement weather or the observance of a holiday prevents adherence to the regular sweeping schedule, the area so affected shall be swept within the following one week period from the date of the date of the scheduled sweeping, if - 3 -
