Contractor may request additional mileage to <br /> be added to the total of 577 miles, subject <br /> to the terms stated above in this <br /> subsection. <br /> <br /> (2) Unless otherwise provided, streets shall be <br /> swept by sweeping along exterior street <br /> curbs, or edges of pavement where no curbs <br /> exist. On streets with medians, median curbs <br /> shall also be swept. Main Street (from its <br /> junction with realigned Bernal Avenue/Sunol <br /> Boulevard to the WPRR) and Stanley Boulevard- <br /> First Street-Sunol Boulevard (from the <br /> eastern City limits to and including its <br /> intersection with the 1-680 interchange <br /> southbound off-ramp) shall have the entire <br /> street surface swept, from curb to curb, <br /> including areas within button-designated <br /> medians. <br /> <br /> b. New City Streets. New streets may be added by the <br /> Director during the term of this Agreement. Such <br /> streets shall be added to the street sweeping <br /> schedule and swept in accordance with Section 2 <br /> (a)(1) above upon receipt of notice of the streets <br /> to be added by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> c. City Parkina Lots. The following City parking <br /> lots shall be swept by sweeping the entire surface <br /> from curb to curb: <br /> <br /> Peters Lot <br /> Century House <br /> Amador Park <br /> Sports Park <br /> Tennis Park <br /> City Hall <br /> Library <br /> Vineyard <br /> Museum <br /> <br /> d. Special Events and Emerqency Calls. The <br /> Contractor shall undertake additional sweeping as <br /> required by the Director. Such additional <br /> sweeping shall include, but not be limited to, <br /> slurry seal sweeping, parade cleanup, leaf season <br /> work, and emergency sweeping and shall be <br /> compensated pursuant to Paragraph 5(d). <br /> <br />3. Schedule <br /> <br /> a. Downtown Streets. Streets designated on Exhibit A <br /> as "downtown streets" shall be swept once per <br /> week. <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
