Contractor may request additional mileage to be added to the total of 577 miles, subject to the terms stated above in this subsection. (2) Unless otherwise provided, streets shall be swept by sweeping along exterior street curbs, or edges of pavement where no curbs exist. On streets with medians, median curbs shall also be swept. Main Street (from its junction with realigned Bernal Avenue/Sunol Boulevard to the WPRR) and Stanley Boulevard- First Street-Sunol Boulevard (from the eastern City limits to and including its intersection with the 1-680 interchange southbound off-ramp) shall have the entire street surface swept, from curb to curb, including areas within button-designated medians. b. New City Streets. New streets may be added by the Director during the term of this Agreement. Such streets shall be added to the street sweeping schedule and swept in accordance with Section 2 (a)(1) above upon receipt of notice of the streets to be added by the Contractor. c. City Parkina Lots. The following City parking lots shall be swept by sweeping the entire surface from curb to curb: Peters Lot Century House Amador Park Sports Park Tennis Park City Hall Library Vineyard Museum d. Special Events and Emerqency Calls. The Contractor shall undertake additional sweeping as required by the Director. Such additional sweeping shall include, but not be limited to, slurry seal sweeping, parade cleanup, leaf season work, and emergency sweeping and shall be compensated pursuant to Paragraph 5(d). 3. Schedule a. Downtown Streets. Streets designated on Exhibit A as "downtown streets" shall be swept once per week. - 2 -
