Introduced Ordinance No. 1951 amending Chapter 17.08 of the Municipal Code, Flood <br />Damage Prevention, as recommended by the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA) <br />16. Approved a professional services contract to Carollo Engineers in the amount of $74,137 <br />with an additional contingency amount of $11,163 for an amount not to exceed $85,300 for <br />the City's 2007 Water and Wastewater Systems Asset Management Plan Update; <br />allocated $42,650 from the City's Capital Improvement Project No. 062002, Annual Sewer <br />Replacement Projects, to pay for the sewer enterprise share of these services and <br />$42,650 from Capital Improvement Project No. 001000, Annual Water Replacement <br />Projects, to pay for the water enterprise fund share of these services to be used to fund <br />the project <br />Motion: It was m/s by SullivanlThorne to approve Consent Calendar Items 1-16, and <br />amend Item 5 to indicate the Council supports the concept plan but does not commit to <br />funding until the Council further understands what will happen to its own block grant <br />monies. Presentation of National Tourism Week Proclamation <br />Councilmember Cook-Kallio introduced Amy Lashka, President and CEO of the Tri-Valley <br />Convention and Visitors Bureau, read the proclamation, proclaimed May 12-20, 2007 as <br />National Tourism Week and presented it to Ms. Lashka. <br />Ms. Lashka thanked the Council, said they were the destination and marketing <br />organization for the Tri-Valley region, said the Bureau represents Pleasanton, Livermore, <br />Dublin, San Ramon and most recently the Town of Danville and are charged with bringing <br />awareness and economic impact to the region. In the fiscal year to date they have brought <br />over $2 million to Pleasanton through their efforts, she distributed "I Support Tri-Valley <br />City Council Minutes 3 May 1, 2007 <br />
