ATTACHMENT 7
Leslie Mendez
From: Donna Decker
Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2007 6:20 PM
To: Anne Fox; Arne Olson
Phil Blank
Cc: Maria Hoey; Leslie Mendez
Subject: FW: 403 St. Mary Street
Planning Commissioners--
Below you will find a request to continue PUD-61.
Donna
From:
Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2007 6:07 PM
To: Donna Decker
Subject: 403 St. Mary Street
Dear Ms. Decker and Planning Commissioners,
Greg O'Connor; Jennifer Pearce; Kathy Narum;
We would like to request that tonight's hearing regarding the lot split of 403 St. Mary Street and 730 Peters
Street be postponed and continued to another meeting. There are several reasons that we ask for this
continuance. We have been informed that this project was originally approved only as a residence and a
Granny flat, and Mr. Oxsen was specifically told that this could not be split into two parcels and two homes. It is
a very poor precedent to have property developed under one set of specifications and then only a few years
later, have it completely changed. We also feel that the neighbors in the Downtown area do not want to see the
properties be more densely developed, and this sets a bad precedence to have the larger lots split into such
small pieces.
Much of the beauty of our Downtown, Heritage neighborhood is the diversity of the homes and lots. Please,
please do not let poor planning and greed turn wonderful area into a mish-mash of cut-up lots.
Sincerely, Bonnie and Fred Krichbaum
