Zone Boundaries <br /> <br /> Boundaries for a Permit Parking Zone will be determined by one of the <br /> following criteria: <br /> <br /> A. The number of contiguous properties on any street requesting <br /> inclusion in the zone with all requests being in the form of a signed <br /> petition. The affected areas will end at the property line of any <br /> household that does not sign a petition indicating their desire to be <br /> part of the zone. Those areas located beyond any property not <br /> included on the petition will be ineligible for inclusion in the zone. <br /> <br /> B. An area which has designed by the City. <br /> <br /> C. A democratic process whereby 67% of the property owners/occupants <br /> located on a block to sign a petition agreeing to establish a zone on <br /> their block. If established under this alternative criteria, the zone <br /> would cover either the entire block on both sides of the street or a <br /> substantial portion of a block on both sides of the street. <br /> <br />4. Administration <br /> <br /> All zones will conform with applicable City ordinances and regulations and <br /> will be administered by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />5. Enforcement <br /> <br /> All zones will be enforced by the City of Pleasanton Police Department in full <br /> compliance with applicable City and State requirements. Enforcement of the <br /> zone will be uniform, with no exceptions granted to particular user groups. <br /> The fine ~or violations will be twenty-five dollars ($25.00). <br /> <br /> Residents and their guest who are parking in a permit parking zone without <br /> the appropriate permit will be fined. <br /> <br /> -2 <br />10/01/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
