6. Time of Operation <br /> <br /> The zone will be in effect from XX am to XX pm, xxxday through xxxday, <br /> Month to Month. <br /> <br />7. Signage <br /> <br /> Due to the unique nature of the zone restrictions, signage must be placed at a <br /> distance of one (1) sign every 100-1:2,~ feet (approximately every two <br /> households). The sign will read: "Permit Parking Only - XX am to XX pm, <br /> xxxday through xxxday, Month to Month, Pleasanton Municipal Code # <br /> __ ". Signs will be made, maintained and replaced by the City. <br /> <br />8. Zone Decals and Permits <br /> <br /> In order to properly enforce the program, it will be necessary to have a zone <br /> decal that can be permanently affixed to the left side of the rear bumper of all <br /> vehicles that qualify for an exemption from zone parking limitations. The <br /> decals, which will be numbered, will be available at the City cashier at the <br /> cost of $10.00 per vehicle per year. The following are the groups of persons <br /> who may obtain permanent decals: <br /> <br /> A. Residents. A resident will be defined as any person who has, as his/her <br /> primary residence, an address within the boundaries of the zone. A <br /> primary residence will be one where the person sleeps four or more <br /> times per week. There is no limit to the number of decals that a <br /> resident may obtain, provided that the resident owns or has control <br /> over each of the vehicles for which the decals are intended. <br /> <br /> B. Home Care Providers: A home care provider will be defined as any <br /> person providing in-home care (predominantly nursing) to a resident of <br /> the zone, at a minimum of two full days per week. Home care <br /> providers may obtain only one (1) decal which will be available at the <br /> regular fee of $10.00. <br /> <br />9. Required Documents <br /> <br /> All persons desiring a decal will be required to complete and sign an <br /> application form. Any resident wishing to obtain a decal will be required to <br /> show proof of residency. Proof of residency may be shown by an official <br /> <br /> -3 <br />~o/0~/ga <br /> <br /> <br />
