4y~,~,snHToy <br />.~, <br />~,: o <br />.~ <br />~wsso ~ <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : January 14, 1970 <br />Time : 8:1o PM <br />PIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />The exterior buildings and landscaping <br />will be maintenance-free for the prospective <br />homeowner, as he must participate in a ma into <br />nance program handled by the Homeowners <br />Association. <br />Mr. Ernie Reynolds, Landscape Architects. - <br />Environmental Planners from the firm of <br />Linesch & Reynolds in Long Beach, spoke a <br />few words in favor of this concept. <br />Mr. Reynold's organization is responsible <br />for the landscaping work in the development. <br />The overall density for this development <br />is 7.22 per gross acre. The total number <br />of units is 679. <br />The renderings presented by Mr. Delk were <br />left with the City staff to be displayed at <br />City Hall where questions could be answered <br />regarding this concept. <br />The Public Hearing was then continued to <br />either the meeting of February 11, 25 or <br />March 11, 1970, depending on when it would <br />be feasible to consider this application aga <br />RECREATIONAL <br />TRAILS SYTEM <br />Res. No. 980, <br />Approved <br />Referral from the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission regarding review by the Planning <br />Commission of recreational trail systems <br />for the Pleasanton area. <br />n. <br />Resolution: x <br />Seconded: x <br />Ayes: x X x x <br />Noes: <br />Absent: x <br />Mr. Gary Patton, Parks and Recreation <br />Director, presented two outlines showing <br />the horse and hiking trail and a bicycle <br />pathway trail. These trails are to <br />eventually integrate with that proposed by <br />the East Bay Regional Parks District's <br />Program. <br />There was some discussion among the <br />Commissioners regarding the feasibility <br />of locating these trails on the eastside <br />of Foothill Road, in particular, the <br />- 7 - <br />.rr...,..~... <br />TENTATIVE SUB- <br />DIVISION MAP <br />Res. No. 982, <br />Approved. <br />Abstain: <br />Noes: <br />There were no problems, and a resolution Absent: <br />recommending approval was entered and passed Abstain: <br />subject to conditions imposed by the <br />Planning and Public Works Departments. <br />Tentative Tract #2980, Vintage Hills, Unit <br />Application of MacKay & Somps for approval <br />of said tentative tract map. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, representing the <br />applicant, had a question regarding certain <br />of the recommendations. <br />After some discussion, a resolution recommen <br />ding approval subject to conditions imposed <br />by the Planning and Public Works Departments <br />was entered and passed. <br />- 8 - <br />.
