In line with this thinking, the Commission passed a resolution recommending the denial of the rezoning to the district, which would permit the construction and operation of the proposed service station. The Planning Director explained to the Commission that since the matter was a reversal by Council of the recommendation made by the Planning Commission, it would automatically be returned to the Commission for reconsideration. Mr. George Oakes was present and spoke in favor of his proposal. Mr. E. G.
