No. 983, bsent: <br />Denied. It was the feeling of the staff that they bstain: <br /> would be reluctant to extend any more commer <br /> cial zoning in that area. <br />In line with this thinking, the Commission <br />passed a resolution recommending the denial <br />of the rezoning to the district, which would <br />permit the construction and operation of the <br />proposed service station. <br />REFERRALS FROM First Pleasanton Investors - application to <br />CITY COUNCIL rezone by amendment to the original PUD <br />PUD-69-8, from the RM-2500 and R-1-6500 District to <br />Continued. the C-F and RM-2000 District, that property <br />described as Parcel 2-9 of Assessor's Map <br />Book 946, Block 1101 containing 11.7 acres, <br />more or less, and a portion of Parcel 6, <br />Assessor's Map Book 99-B, Block 3950, Page 1, <br />containing 9.1 acres, more or less, or more <br />commonly known as that property immediately <br />south of Highway ~~580 and east of Tassajara <br />Road, Pleasanton. <br />The Planning Director explained to the <br />Commission that since the matter was a <br />reversal by Council of the recommendation <br />made by the Planning Commission, it would <br />automatically be returned to the Commission <br />for reconsideration. <br />Mr. George Oakes was present and spoke in <br />favor of his proposal. <br />Mr. E.
