4y$~SAJVj~y - O
CITY of PLEASANT N
~ '.~ •
~~° Planning Commission
.~ .o
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : January 28, 1970
Time : 8:25 ~
PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
Departments.
There was some concern expressed by the
Commission as to whether any further rezon-
ing requests should be considered at this
time. However, the Chairman pointed out
that the Commission had been instructed by
Council that the sole function of the Plann-
ing Commission is to consider land use and
that they were not to become involved in
matters of policy.
CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT
UP-70-1,
Res. No. 984,
Approved.
Chairman Garrigan, did however voice concern
regarding the traffic circulation problem
on Vineyard Avenue, and called for data
regarding the total number of potential
units for Vineyard Avenue, and also the
average ultimate traffic potential for that
street.
A motion was entered and passed t
item under advisement for 45 days
further study of the matter.
Falender Homes, Inc. - application to allow Resolution:
the construction of a model home sales Seconded:
complex, generally located at the end of Ayes:
Marigold Court on property described as Noes:
Lots 50 through 54 inclusive, Tract 3123, Absent:
Pleasanton. Abstain:
The Public Hearing was opened by the
Chairman.
There was some objections from the Public
Works Department for the proposal to elim-
inate the paving in the upper portion of
Marigold Court and fill that area with trees
and lawn. This situation could possibly
cause drainage under the paving which would
in time bring about erosion. Aowever, it
was felt that some agreement could be reache
between the Director of Public Works and the
applicant to resolve this situation.
- 3 -
