4y~,~,sa~vToy • <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />+ •.~ • <br />y0 <br />~~~° Planning Commission <br />`~NMtO t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGtB : January 28, 1970 <br />Time : 8:2s PM <br />PIG C8; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />RZ-69-25, Cont. <br />to 2/25/70 <br />REZONING APPLICATION <br />RZ-70-1, Taken <br />under advisement. <br />John MacGowan - application to rezone from <br />the A (Agricultural) District to the RM-4 <br />(Multiple Family), RM-25 (Multiple Family) <br />and C-S (Commercial Service) Districts that <br />property described as Parcels 3 and 4 of <br />Assessor's Map Book 946, Block 3200, con- <br />taining 91.89 acres, more or less, said <br />property more commonly known as that area <br />west of Santa Rita Road, previously the <br />Nevis-Lima parcels, generally bounded by <br />Tassajara Canal and the Southern Pacific <br />Railroad. <br />A continuance was requested, which was <br />granted the applicant. <br />Arthur Wyler/Mary Perry - application to <br />prezone, pending annexation, to the RM-1500 <br />(Multiple) District from the existing <br />County A (Agricultural) zoning, that prop- <br />erty known as 3773 Vineyard Avenue, said <br />property described as Parcel 2, Block 1699 <br />of Alameda County Assessor's Map Book 946, <br />containing 3.56 acres, more or less. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Chairman <br />Garrigan. <br />The Planning Director demonstrated, as an <br />example, a proposal from Frank Auf der Maur <br />indicating approximately the same type of <br />density. The property is located on the <br />north side of Vineyard Avenue. <br />The Planning Director felt that because <br />there were no development plans submitted, <br />that should the Commission be disposed in <br />granting this application that it be classi• <br />fled in the lowest multiple district pend- <br />ing a development plan whereby the Commissic <br />can then determine whether a higher multiplE <br />classification is warranted. <br />The applicant, Mr. Wyler, requested that a <br />decision be made that evening, to be pre- <br />zoned to the RM-2500 subject to the con- <br />ditions of the Planning and Public Works <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Abseat: <br />Abstain: <br />- 2 - <br />
