4y~,~-saNTOy <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ',~ • <br />`~ ~~~° Planning Commission <br />~M{•D <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D Ct8 March 11, 1970 <br />Time : silo PM <br />PIaC@: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />REZONING REQUEST Mel Mack - application to rezone from the <br />A (Agricultural) District to the C-F <br />(Commercial Freeway) District that property <br />described as Parcel 1-1 of Assessor's Map <br />Book 946, Block 3295, containing 2.7 acres, <br />more or less, or more commonly known as the <br />E1 Rancho Motel on Santa Rita Road, <br />Pleasanton. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by the <br />Chairman. <br />REZONING REQUEST <br />RZ-69-21, Denied, <br />Res. No. 959 <br />Mr. Lee Amaral, representing the owner of <br />E1 Rancho Motel, felt that the C-F zoning <br />requested would not affect adversely any <br />of the adjoining properties. <br />There being no further testimony, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Pons was still opposed to the <br />change requested. <br />Commissioner Gibbs felt that the request <br />was a reasonable one and was primarily a <br />case of economics. <br />A resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Gibbs and seconded by Chairman Garrigan, <br />approving this application. This received <br />two affirmative votes from Gibbs and Garri <br />with Antonini, Pereira and Pons voting in <br />the negative. <br />A subsequent resolution recommending denial <br />of RZ-69-22 was entered and passed. <br />William Struthers - application to rezone <br />from the A (Agricultural) District to the <br />C-S (Commercial Service) District that <br />property described as Parcel 2 of Assessor's <br />Map Book 946,Block 3295, containing 1.0 ac., <br />more or less; this property is more commonly <br />known as lying west of Santa Rita Road <br />Resolution: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />- 4 - <br />
