Shatusky and Helen <br />UP-70-5, Approved, Mabarak - application for a conditional use <br />Res. No. 1005 permit to operate a children's preschool <br />center in an RM-1500 (Multiple) District. <br />Said preschool center to be located at <br />287 West Angela Street, property described <br />as Parcel 17, Block 152, Book 94 of the <br />Alameda County Assessor's Office. <br />The Planning Director stated that he had <br />no objections, and recommended approval <br />subject to all the requirements. <br />Mr. John Corley, representing the applicant <br />spoke concurring with most of the recommen- <br />dations but had several questions regarding <br />the parking and wished to work out the <br />details with the Director of Public Works. <br />After some further discussion, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />The Commissioners discussed the possibility <br />of a time limit being placed on this use, <br />and concluded that with the investment <br />the applicants will have to go into to put <br />the business in operating condition, it <br />would be unrealistic to place any sort of <br />a time limit on this application. <br />A resolution recommending approval subject <br />to certain conditions, was entered and <br />passed. <br />REZONING REQUEST Wallace H, and Mary E. Mayer - application <br />RZ-70-5, Continued to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) <br />to May 27, 1970. District to the 0 (Office) District that <br />property described as Parcel 4, Block 127, <br />Book 94 of the Alameda County Assessor's <br />Office, said property generally located at <br />1072 Division Street, Pleasanton. <br />It was moved to continue this matter to <br />May 27, pending notification of surrounding <br />property owners by applicant's attorney. <br />- 2 - <br />
