4y$ASAJVT0~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />'~% . ~ <br />~'~~~° Planning Commission <br />~..o. <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date ; May 13, 1970 <br />Time : $:25 PM <br />PIG C8; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />GENERAL PLAN Foothill Road - application of the Planning <br />AMENDMENT Commission to review and consider an amend- <br />GP-70-3, Continued went to the General Plan to revise the <br />to May 27, 1970 circulation classification for Foothill Road <br />between Bernal Avenue and Verona Road, from <br />a four-lane thoroughfare to a two-lane <br />thoroughfare. <br />A continuance was requested pending more <br />thorough information on this matter. <br />ZONING ORDINANCE <br />AMENDMEN T <br />Rea. 1006, Approved <br />MATTERS FOR <br />COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Sec. 2.103, Zoning Ordinance No. 520 - <br />application of the Planning Commission to <br />amend Sec. 2.103(f), Sideyard Requirements <br />and Exceptions; said amendment to revise th <br />present wording to prohibit fences, walls an <br />hedges not over 6 ft. high to encroach withi <br />the required 10 ft, Sideyard setback. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by the <br />Cha irman. <br />The Planning Director exhibited photographs, <br />demonstrating certain situations which <br />currently exists in the City. After some <br />discussion, the Commissioners concurred that <br />the situation should not be permitted to <br />continue. <br />The Public Hearing was closed, after no <br />further testimony was given. <br />A resolution recommending the amendment of <br />said zoning ordinance was entered and passed. <br />'PUD-69-8, First Pleasanton Investors - rev <br />'of revised, approved concept. <br />This was a review of the approved concept <br />for the application, which incorporated the <br />RM-2500 density with a maximum of 159 units. <br />Resolution: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />- 3 - <br />
