In accordance with this train of thought, a resolution was entered and passed, recomm- ending to City Council the following: 1) That the area south of Bernal Ave. to Verona Rd. be established as a two-lane, scenic and rural thoroughfare, with the possibility of left-turn median lanes if needed only, 2) that the area south of West Las Positas Blvd. to Bernal Ave., be main- tained under the same status, if at all possible, and 3) that said precise amendment not be officially adopted by City Council until such time as a specific recommendation has been forwarded by the Department of Planning and Public Works relative to a physical design for the right-of-way in question. Sec. 7.102 and Sec. 8.105, Zoning Ordinance No. 520 - application of the Planning Commission to review and re-evaluate Sec. 7.105 "Permitted and Conditional Uses" for the C-Commercial Districts. A preliminary list of commercial uses and a proposed new district known as the Light Industrial was presented to the Commission for review. After some deliberation of this information it was moved to continue this matter to June 10, for further consideration.
