He also ques- <br />'''tioned the park area as benefitting all of tt <br />,City, it is more of a private type park. He <br />(further stated that he felt this area was <br />!,prime industrial land and that was needed <br />atost. <br />',Mrs. Kenneth S. Merrill, 2680 Turnstone Dr., <br />'spoke with regard to the problems in the <br />,construction of her home, that she had pur- <br />chased from Rainier Construction Company. <br />'Mr. Castro reit~atai that the referred to <br />"numbers game" was actually the General Plan <br />projected figures. <br />Mr. Richard Karn, Bissell and Karn, San <br />Leandro, also representing Morrison Homes, <br />questioned the legality of Condition No. 11 <br />of the staff report, and also felt that <br />Conditions Nos. 12 through 15 relating to <br />Public Works could be resolved. <br />Mr. Dudley Frost referred to a report of <br />the Parks and Recreation Commission dated <br />April 15, 1970, regarding park dedication. <br />Mr. Frost also read a letter from Livingston <br />& Blayney stating that Morrison development <br />plans were within the required density, <br />considering the variety of density. <br />Commissioner Pereira inquired about the <br />street width. Mr. Frost replied that there <br />was 60 ft. right-of-way and 40 ft. face-to- <br />face. <br />Commissioner Hirst asked if Section 235 mone <br />has been applied for, to which Mr. Frost <br />replied it had not. Mr. Hirst also asked <br />which housing would be built first. Mr. Fro t <br />answered that the northerly part would be <br />developed first, including townhouses, garde <br />court homes and parkview. Mr. Hirst then <br />- 3 - <br />
