Co. - At the request of the Director of <br />Recreation, this matter was continued to the <br />meeting of August 12, 1970. <br />TENTATIVE SUBDIVIS <br />Tentative Tract ~~3230 (Laguna Vista Estates) Resolution: <br />McKeon Construction - The Planning Director Seconded: <br />advised the Commission that the matter Ayes: <br />before them was the McKeon project to be Noes: <br />built on Foothill Road, and that the only Absent: <br />change being considered at this time is that Abstain: <br />the pm ject will not be a rental one but is <br />being proposed to be sold under the condomi- <br />nium process, and that in order to accomplis <br />that objective, a tentative map is necessary <br />XI IX <br />Tent. Tr. 3230, <br />Approved, Res.No.l <br />The conditions of approval are noted on both <br />the Planning Director's and Public Works <br />reports. The staff had no further comments. <br />A lengthy discussion ensued between the <br />Commissioners as to the desirability of this <br />project being sold as opposed to being rente <br />when first proposed. Commissioner Pereira <br />expressed his opinion that if he had known <br />at the time of the original approval that <br />this was to be sold, his position would have <br />been quite different. Other members also <br />expressed their concern with regard to the <br />sale of these units. <br />The City Attorney advised the Commission <br />there was nothing that could be done under <br />the Subdivision Ordinance if the developer <br />meets the approved requirements. <br />A resolution recommending approval of Tenta- <br />tive Tract flap ~k3230 was entered and passed. <br />x <br />- 13 - <br />
