4y~~3AJVTOy O <br />CITY of PLEASANT N <br />~~; . <br />`~ ~~~° Planning Commission <br />~ r~o s <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date July 22, 1970 <br />Time : 7:30 PM <br />FIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Castro opposed Mrs. Grossman's plan <br />request. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Pereira, sec- <br />onded by Commissioner Garrigan and carried, <br />that the portion of the application of Joyc <br />and Leonard Grossman regarding parking re- <br />quirements for their preschool at 883 Rose <br />Avenue, will conform with the Ordinance re- <br />quirements of the City of Pleasanton. <br />Request for Planning Commission recommen- <br />dation on policy regarding development of <br />private streets - this matter was continued <br />to August 12, 1970. <br />Communication from Mr. Gene Allen requesti <br />the Planning Commission for approval to <br />place construction signs reading, "Another <br />Master Pools." <br />Mr. Castro read the communication from <br />Mr. Allen regarding placement of signs <br />advertising pools being built. <br />After discussion by the Commission, it was <br />decided that small, temporary signs could <br />be placed so that construction workers woul <br />be able to find pool sites, but that the <br />signs must be removed as soon as pool con- <br />struction is completed. <br />A communication from Mr. Harold Murphy of <br />Murco Development Company was read by the <br />Planning Director requesting a special meet <br />ing of the Planning Commission to consider <br />a matter before the next regularly schedule <br />meeting on August 12. <br />The Commission refused this request. <br />- 12 - <br />
