Commissioner Wood felt the idea was a worthy one and felt that the inconvenience of a few would be worth the advantage gained by the many. Commissioner Pereira concurred with this idea. Commissioner Hirst had no comments at this time. Commissioner Pons had a question about music and how late it would be playing. Mr. Brown stated that there is a jukebox in the Liverm center but that it is controlled by a super- visor. Chairman Garrigan felt that there is a desperate need for this sort of center, and although those who oppose the idea may have legitimate fears, most of them can be elimin ated by proper controls and strict super- vision. Chairman Garrigan also advised those who were in opposition that they had an appeal period in which to appeal their opposition to the City Council. Also, if there are problems, once the center is established, that they register their com- plaints with the staff in order that a record could be kept. A resolution recommending approval subject to certain conditions, was entered and pas REZONING REQUEST C. & H. Development, Inc., - application to RZ-70-13, Approved, rezone from the I-G, 3 ac.
