The Public Hearing was opened by Chairman Garrigan. Both the rezoning request and the conditi use request were considered at the same time. The Planning Director advised the Commissio that the development plan and the zoning requested was submitted to the Industrial Committee of the Chamber of Commerce for their review and comments. Their recommen- dation was for approval with two conditions that the C-F zoning be approved with the express purpose of constructing a motel, restaurant and service station, and that there be a time limit imposed on the appli- cations for the completion of the facilitie The boundaries of the parcel in question were exhibited by Mr. Castro to the Com- missioners. Preliminary circulation has been developed at the time that Reynold C. Johnson Company came in for their applica- tion. Also, Qualified Investment, who are handling the Reynold C. Johnson Company sales, have advised the staff that it is no economically feasible to sell the entire large property and it is their intention to split the parcel.
