4~$~sAN~oy CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ~'i . <br />.~ <br />`~~~° Planning Commission <br />~IIMfO ~ <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING, <br />DGfie : October 27 , 1970 <br />Time : 8:10 PM <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />These thoughts will be summarized <br />and guidelines furnished to the <br />applicant. <br />GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT <br />GP-70-4, Continued <br />to Nov. 10, 1970. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Garrigan, <br />seconded by Commissioner Pereira, <br />and carried, the matter was contin- <br />ued to the second meeting in ~~'ebrua <br />1971. <br />Foothill Road Study - Application of <br />the Planning Commission to review an <br />and/or amend the General Plan for <br />that area generally encompassing the four <br />quadrants located at the interchange <br />of #580 and Bernal Avenue; said <br />public hearing also to consider thos <br />properties located on both the east <br />and west sides of Foothill Road be- <br />tween West Las Positas Boulevard and <br />Castlewood Drive, said General Plan <br />review is to reevaluate the existing <br />zoning that is now applicable to <br />those properties within the City Lim ts, <br />as well as to reevaluate the land us <br />recommendations offered by the Gen- <br />eral Plan; said area containing more <br />or less 154 acres. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. Chai - <br />man Garrigan advised that he receive <br />two telephone calls of complaints th t <br />they did not receive written <br />notifications of this public hearing <br />Clarification was given that all <br />property owners within a 300 ft. rad us <br />had been notified. Perhaps the faul <br />was in the manner in which the publi <br />hearing notice was written up, which <br />was misleading. <br />This matter was then continued for <br />two weeks. <br />- 9 - <br />
