DCte ; January 12, 1971 Time : 8:25 PM PIQCe: Pleasanton Justice Court A Mr. Averill Mix representing Howard Hanse and Ann Marie Mix, remarked about the meeti held at the County, which was a preliminary meeting. He stated that the meeting was notable for its lack of information. Only two agencies expressed concern - Department of Agriculture Sofl Conservation Office because of undercutting in Stages 2 and 3, and possible problem of erosion and slippag of land. The other agency was the Water Quality Control Board. These problems may take three to four months to resolve, there fore, no action should be taken on this application. A Mr. Chuck Allen with Mutual Land Company also spoke against this application. Regarding the site north of Interstate X580, on Croak Road, the following comments were offered. Mr. Burke Critchfield, attorney, representi the owners of this application, spoke in favor of it. This site will encompass 160 Another advantage to this conditional use permit, was that the land will revert back to the zoning it presently carries, and Mr. Critchfield pointed these factors out a well as the willingness of his client to dedicate this land for park purposes after the site is filled in 20 years. Mr. Critchfield stressed that this dump site, if approved, would be for the use of the City of Pleasanton, as well. A Mrs. Evelyn Bankhead owning property adjacent, spoke against it. Mr. W. D. Armstrong, representing Gill/ McFarland, opposed the application. Also present was a Mr. Sanford Berliner, wh spoke in opposition of this proposal. Mr. Berliner also represented the interests of Gi11JMcFarland. - 9 -
