William Peloyan and Earl W. Smith,
owners of 300 acres, opposes this proposal.
Mr. Guy Landfer, general partner of General
Research Company, owners of land on Fallon
Road, opposed this proposal.
Francis Gill, owner of property adjacent to
the Croak Road property, opposed the appli-
cation.
Also in opposition was Mr. Arthur Bailey,
owner of 800 acres of land adjacent to the
site.
Mr. Aiello advised the Commission that the
Vineyard Avenue location is in the General
Plan, but that the Croak Road site is out
of the planning boundaries.
Considerable discussion followed among the
Commissioners.
The Commissioners then determined to refer
the Croak Road site to the Valley Planning
Committee for their recommendations, since
the site is out of the Pleasanton planning
boundaries.
Regarding the Vineyard Avenue site, this
item was continued pending further informa-
tion and pending the Council's determination
in regard to the franchise of the current
operating refuse site.
Also, the Commission requested that Council
send a communication to the County Zoning
Administrator indicating continuance of this
item by the Commission and requesting that
due to Pleasanton's concern that no action
be taken by the County until the City can
make a firm recommendation on the Vineyard
Avenue site.
- 10 -
