This gentleman lives across the <br />street from the doctor on Alvarado Street. <br />Complaints were that there is increased <br />traffic and litter and the concern that the <br />area is losing its residential character. <br />Acting Secretary Aiello provided the Commies <br />with a brief synopsis of this conditional us <br />permit, and considerable discussion followed <br />on exactly what kind of an operation is <br />being conducted there. <br />The Commission instructed the staff to <br />schedule for hearing the conditional use <br />permit given to Dr. Carnazzo to determine <br />exactly what type of an operation he is <br />conducting. Also, the residents submitted <br />a list of addresses requesting that they <br />be notified of the public hearing. <br />Suggested Policy re: Private Streets - this <br />matter originally came about on a request <br />from MacKay ~ Somps for the City to adopt <br />a policy regarding street lights in private <br />streets. In accordance with this request, <br />it was decided that the City adopt an overal <br />policy pertaining to private streets. <br />Mr. Alan Campbell, Director of Public Works <br />could not be present and Mr. Don Sooby, his <br />Associate Civil Engineer, took his place. <br />A comprehensive report was presented by <br />Mr. Campbell on the matter of private stree <br />The two areas Mr. Campbell did not make a <br />a recommendation on was the question of <br />storm drains and street lighting. <br />-4- <br />
