4y~~3AJVTO~ <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~. ~ o• <br />.a <br />~'!f' Pidnning Commission <br />ANN^O <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : March 9, 1971 <br />Time : s: os PM <br />PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Some discussion followed, and the conclu- <br />sions drawn were that a policy on private <br />streets would have to be approached cautious <br />ly, as each application of the policy would <br />vary according to a given development. <br />A resolution was then adopted recommending <br />to City Council the adoption of general <br />guidelines per the recommendation contained <br />in the report from the Director of Public <br />Works. <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- Background Report No. 4 - Implementation of <br />NATION OF COMMISSION the Proposed Open Space Element of the <br />Alameda County General Plan (DRAFT). <br />This report was submitted to the Commission <br />for information only. The Public Hearing <br />is to be held on March 15. This will be <br />a preliminary hearing only. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY Chairman Carrigan read a report from the <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS League of California Cities for the infor- <br />mation of the Commission members. <br />Regarding the informational meeting on the <br />proposed Skyline Parkway, the Chairman <br />indicated that all who could attend should <br />do so. <br />Chairman Garriga n also advised of an orga- <br />nization which is being formed consisting <br />of local Planning Commission members. The <br />next meeting is to be held in San Jose. If <br />memberships are to be taken out, the Chair- <br />man felt that the Pleasanton Commission <br />should take out about two memberships. <br />Also, the Commissioners were advised that <br />the Alpha Beta sign and structure was to <br />be removed the following morning. <br />- 3- <br />
