Mr. Barry McDonald, 1820 Cortez Court, had questions regarding this subdivision. He concluded his comments by stating that he opposes the application. Commissioner Pereira spoke of the school situation for clarification purposes for Messrs. Seymour and McDonald. He feels the sewer problems have been satisfied per Mr. Campbell's report. He did refer to specific design problems, while cognizant that it was not appropriate at this stage of the application. Commissioner Hirst expressed his concerns, even though he too realized that this appli- cation is still in its tentative stage. He also felt that the applicant should develop the park in the first phase of construction. Reference was also made to the roof material The Acting Secretary stated that he would no support buyer-option to go asphalt shingle unless a percentage is fixed on this. Mr. Aiello also did not support a bike trail along the railroad tracks on the eastern boundary due to possible police problems. But Commissioner Hirst, that the added prob- lems would be worthwhile counterbalanced against the value of a bicycle trail. Commissioner Hirst further elaborated on the Public Works report and also that perhaps a report on the school situation should be submitted by the School District. - 3 -
