Lake then provided the Commissioners <br />ith a buyer profile of the types of people <br />ho buy into these housing styles. <br />Next, he elaborated on the staff report from <br />the public Works Department for the tentative <br />map, <br />requested certain variations from the <br />nditions in that report. <br />Mr. Richard Karn of the engineering firm of <br />Bissell & Karn then spoke on the engineering <br />report, presenting three alternates for the <br />intersection on Valley Avenue. Mr. Karn ind <br />Gated that any of these alterna tives would b <br />satisfactory to them, although Alternate ~~B <br />is the preference of the Public Works Direct <br />The Acting Secretary also elaborated on the ', <br />development from a planning standpoint, em- ', <br />phasizing to the Commission that should they ii <br />approve this application, they should do so <br />with the thought in mind that it is in con- <br />formity with the General Plan. Mr. Aiello ~ <br />also referred to the changes being proposed ~i <br />for the parking, setbacks for the single-fami <br />areas for Santa Rita Road, Valley Avenue and <br />Mohr Avenue. In addition, some changes were <br />brought up in discussions with the Parks and <br />[tecreation Department. Mr. Aiello felt <br />that regarding the backup treatments, the <br />commission should insist on variety in the <br />fence configuration, requiring deep wedges. <br />The staff would like to have the option to ch <br />the depth and precise schematic approach. <br />leference was also made to the landscaping. <br />r.
