41'$ ~L
~sA~T° CITY of PLEASANTON
~ ,~ ~ • •
*~° Planning Commission
~rrsv t
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : June 8, 1971
Time : s:4o PM
Place; Pleasanton Justice Court
capacity of our plant. If zoned R-1, it
would be the same thing.
Mike Cohen, representing H. C. Elliott,
stated that this was the first he had heard
of the sewage limitations and asked for
time to check it out. He recalled an
annexation proposal with the City reserving
Vintage Hills as a land use.
Ted Lannin criticized the City regarding
this.
Chairman Garrigan moved that the Public
Hearing be closed.
The Commission felt that they had two
alternatives: To deny the recommendation
and ask the Council to waive the one year
resubmittal clause, or to postpone a
decision.
Mr. Cohen again asked that it be continued
so they can check it out.
The Commission granted a 60-day continuance.
MATTERS FOR 1598 Santa Rita Road, Dr. Carnazzo - Revoked
COMMISSION'S REVIEW Use Permit.
1598 Santa Rita Rd.
Revoked Use Permit, Mr. Aiello stated that this item was placed
denied on the agenda by instruction from the
Commission. He then read a letter asking
fora time extension from the applicant's
attorney, John Corley.
Chairman Garrigan recapitulated the situ-
ation regarding Dr. Carnazzo's refusal to
relocate his office. City Attorney Hirst
felt that in Mr. Corley's letter was a
veiled request for rezoning to allow a
temporary use permit.
Commissioner Hirst stated that property has
become available in the last 120 days that
the doctor could have obtained.
-5-
