Commissioner Hirst <br />seconded the motion. It was passed <br />unanimously. <br />COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Aiello discussed a request from Dr. <br />Zimmerman regarding a statement of policy <br />on banking facilities in periphery areas, <br />especially in C-N zones. The Commission <br />would not favor the location of a commercial <br />bank in periphery C-N land use areas. This <br />applies to all savings and loan and full <br />service banks; there is no distinction. <br />The Commission called it a direction, not <br />a policy. <br />REFERRALS FROM <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Parking requirement <br />for medical facilities <br />Res. No. 1099 <br />Regarding parking requirements for medical <br />facilities, the Commission felt that our <br />present requirements are too light for the <br />potential load. There was discussion be- <br />tween the Commissioners regarding whether <br />to continue this matter or to make a <br />decision. <br />Resolution: x <br />Seconded: x <br />Ayes: x x x x x <br />Noes <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- <br />MATION OF COMMISSION <br />Chairman Garrigan entered a resolution that <br />we initiate a change amending zoning <br />ordinance requirements for parking for <br />medical facilities to allow six spaces per <br />doctor or one space for 150 square feet <br />of floor area.
