Mr. Belda <br />stated that on the mansard there will be <br />a plywood backing. Chairman Garrigan <br />stated that this area is too hot for shingle <br />roofs. <br />Commissioner Hirst suggested that street <br />numbers be illuminated. <br />A vote was taken regarding whether to <br />require compliance with wood roofs for <br />unit one. All Commissioners voted aye, <br />and wood roofs will be required for Unit~l, <br />with the understanding that the applicant <br />may come back to the Commission on June 29th <br />with sample proposals. <br />Discussion resumed regarding Unit II. <br />Mr. Campbell was asked to clarify the <br />situation regarding sewage capacity. <br />This development will not be with Pleasanton <br />plant. This will be an arangement with <br />VC SD. <br />A resolution was entered and passed approvin <br />this proposal with conditions. <br />REZONING <br />RZ-71-6, Continued H. C. Elliott, Inc. - to rezone from the C-C <br />for 60-days (Community Commercial) District to RM-1500 <br />(multi-family) District and the C-N (Neigh- <br />borhood Commercial) District that property <br />described as Parcel 1, Block 2551 of Book <br />946 of the Alameda County Assessor's Office. <br />Property generally located on the east side <br />of Pico Avenue bounded by Tawny Drive on the <br />north and Palomino Drive on the south, con- <br />taining 14.03 acres, more or less. <br />It was stated at the outset that this will <br />go on the old sewage plant. Mr. Campbell <br />stated that if this is built this load will <br />go on top of the building permits already <br />issued. If they are building before we <br />build the new plant it will exceed the <br />--4- <br />
