Commissioner <br />Hirst stated that he had a communication <br />from the applicant informing him that he <br />would be unable to come because of strike <br />negotiations. <br />This matter was continued for two weeks. <br />COMNtUNICATIONS Mr. Castro received a notification from the <br />League of California Cities. They are now <br />going to be required to add a conservation <br />element to the General Plan by July of 1972, <br />Mr. Castro will get the necessary infor- <br />mation from the State, <br />REFERRALS FROM THE <br />COUNTY Regarding the ~~580/~~680 Scenic Route, we <br />are asked to address a resolution to the <br />State that we are interested in participatin <br />The Chairman of the Livermore Planning <br />Commission is interested in getting together <br />with a subcommittee to enter a joint <br />resolution regarding this.
