Request for a change in exteri
finish for the Stoneridge Townhouse P.U.D.
Mr. Art Schumaker was present representing
the applicant. Mr. Castro discussed the
renderings as they were displayed, with the
comment that the roof materials will remain
the same.
Commissioner Pereira had questions to the
applicant regarding the type of finish to
be used. The applicant indicated that they
will use a stucco finish but they haven't
decided on another texture as yet. The
applicant indicated that the wood material
as trim will be Douglas Fir or Cedar. They
want to replace the wood finish and stated
that they actually are adding cost to the
project. The applicant stated that the
plans call for asphalt shingle, and they
have never considered anything but compositic
shingle.
It was brought out that the original plans
show wood and the applicant called it an
oversight on their part. The present plans
as submitted do call for composition roofing,
The Commission recalled that on Feb. 23, 197]
'.Resolution ~~1060 indicated that the applicant
was to submit color samples, etc., and the
staff was instructed to check the file.
Chairman Garrigan stated that he felt it
would be premature to make a ruling now and
the Commission continued this matter until
the July 27, 1971 meeting.
-8-
