Planning m <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />p atg July 13, 1971 <br />Time : 8:00 PM <br />Place; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />STOP-WORK ORDER <br />Res. 1105 <br />Approved <br />there is a cluster of medical facilities <br />the parking appears to be more ample and <br />workable as opposed to a single medical <br />facility. Again he explained that to <br />arrive at a precise ration is difficult, <br />but felt that the recommendation was adequa <br />Questions were addressed then to Mr. Edgar, <br />City Manager, inquiring why this matter was <br />referred to the Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Edgar advised the Commission that this <br />is a referral from the City Council re- <br />questing that this matter be looked upon <br />and further advised. <br />Commissioner Pons understood that the study <br />shows that there appears to be no existing <br />problems in Pleasanton. Chairman Garrigan <br />said that just because the City does not <br />presently have a problem, it should not <br />preclude some review. He also indicated <br />that because of the size of examining rooms, <br />it appears that facilities will allow the <br />ability to treat more people on a square <br />foot basis as opposed to exisitng facilities <br />Chairman Garrigan further commented that if <br />the recommendation appears to be unreason- <br />able in the future the Commission can always <br />down-grade the requirement. <br />There being no further discussion, the <br />Resolution was made to amend the Zoning <br />Ordinance and it was passed unanimously. <br />Merrill Grotenhuis - Stop work order. The <br />City Attorney could not be present, but he <br />submitted a report and copy of a letter fo <br />be signed by Mr. Grotenhuis. <br />Mr. Castro stated that in discussing the <br />matter with the City Attorney, he was <br />advised of the problems that occured in <br />the past.
