4y$A3A1yT0y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~; . <br />`~~~~° Planning Commission <br />• `p t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D Ot8 July 13, 1971 <br />Time : s;oo PM <br />PIOCe: pleasanton Justice Court <br />Attorney's solution was workable and adequat <br />The City has received a $2,000 personal chec <br />from Mr. Grotenhuis in case he doesn't meet <br />those requirements previously imposed by the <br />Design Review Board or Staff within 14 days. <br />Mr. Castro further advised the Commission <br />that the letter prepared by the City Attorne <br />has not been signed by Mr. Grotenhuis and <br />that this would be essential to release any <br />of the units for final occupancy or to lift <br />the stop work order. He further advised the <br />Commission that the bond fn the amount of <br />$2,000 supposedly is to cover the painting, <br />drainage and other matters that were not <br />resolved by Mr. Grotenhuis. <br />Commissioner Hirst asked what happens after <br />thirty days. Mr. Castro advised him that the <br />manner in which the letter is written, the <br />applicant has 14 days to resolve the pro- <br />blems. If not, the City then has the right <br />to collect the money and make any necessary <br />improvements. <br />Commissioner Pereira felt that the City <br />should require a 100% Performance Bond. <br />Commissioner Hirst stated that he went out <br />to the job site and feels that Mr. Grotenhuis <br />has made some steps to correct the deficienci <br />Mr. Grotenhuis addressed the Commission. He <br />stated that the building which is now being <br />worked on was not part of the stop work <br />order. He further indicated that when the <br />stop work order was made, wiring had already <br />taken place. <br />Chairman Garrigan corrected him by saying <br />that it was his understanding that the stop <br />work order was for the entire project. Mr. <br />Grotenhuis disagreed. Mr. Castro confirmed <br />the fact that the stop work order is <br />essentially being applied to the entire <br />project. <br />'s. <br />-3- <br />
