CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data July 13, 1971 <br />Time : s:00 PM <br />PI0C8: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Commissioners Pons, <br />Hirst, Pereira, Wood and Chairman Garrigan. <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES No minutes were submitted for the meeting <br />of June 29, 1971. <br />REVISIONS AND Mr. Castro reported that the applicant re- <br />OMISSIONS TO THE quested a continuance in regards to P.U.D,- <br />AGENDA 69-8, Amador Valley Investors. Chairman <br />Garrigan instructed that the item remain <br />on the agenda and then be continued. <br />Mr. Castro further advised the Commission <br />that several communications will be pre- <br />sented later in the evening. <br />ZONING ORDINANCE Amendment to Medical Office Parking Re- <br />AMENDMENT quirements. <br />Res. 1104 <br />Approved Chairman Garrigan opened the public hearing <br />on this matter. <br />Mr. Castro said that in reviewing the Staff <br />Reports, he had no additional comments at <br />this time. <br />No one in the audience appeared for or <br />against this matter, and the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Commissioners Hirst asked if we have estab- <br />lished that there is a need in Pleasanton <br />for amending our parking requirement, Mr. <br />Castro replied that it is rather difficult <br />to define needs for medical facilities. <br />That based on the study which the department <br />made, it would appear that the recommendatio <br />being offered would be consistent with what <br />other cities are currently requiring. Mr. <br />Castro further advised the Commission that <br />parking varies depending on the design of <br />medical facilities.
