~y~~s"N~°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~ .~;. <br />*~° Planning Commission <br />`~YYfO e <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D Qt8 July 13, 1971 <br />Time : s:oo PM <br />PIQCB: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. Castro explained that there will be <br />department changes made within the Building <br />and Planning Departments and hopefully <br />development problems will be minimized in <br />the future. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY Chairman Garrigan discussed the matter of <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS regulating gas station growth. He commeinte <br />that somebody has to get out and start <br />something. He proposed that Mr. Castro <br />devise some type of formula or some type <br />of proposal by the next meeting if possible <br />regarding suggested controls of gas station <br />development because of the problems facing <br />us now. Commissioner Pereira commented <br />that Mr. Castro's gas station master plan <br />based on population still spears to be <br />valid. <br />Commissioner Pons stated that the Livermore <br />Planning Commission wants a copy of our <br />Tree Ordinance. <br />Commissioner Pereira stated that it was <br />his understanding that the City of Woodland <br />has a good Tree Ordinance and suggested <br />the Staff write to them and ask for a copy. <br />Chairman Garrigan brought up the matter <br />that two Commissioners (Commissioner Pons <br />and Commissioner Pereira) were not notified <br />of the joint study session with the City <br />Council regarding the gas station study. <br />At the joint meeting with the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission it was unanimously <br />decided that a liason membership be formed <br />at meetings. <br />-11- <br />
