q~$~sAN~oy CITY of PLEASANTON
~~ •',,
~~~° Planneng Commission
.~..o
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Date Augur t 10 , 19 71
Time : s : oo PM
PIG CB: Pleasanton Justice Court
~~~
~~ m~~~
~?
and we would like to review that
before we consider having mini-bikes
in the Youth Sports Park. The County
has stringent conditions for such a
riding area. It was stated that this
would be a commercial venture. Park
and Recreation Commissioner Wilfley
stated that there is a need for this
kind of a facility as these bicyles
are all over town. His first choice
would be Shadowcliff Park. The
problems of access to such a facility
were discussed. The problems would
be the same whether at the Youth
Sports Park or at the Fairgrounds.
Commissioner Pereira moved that this
matter be tabled. It was seconded
by Chairman Garrigan and passed
unanimously.
MATTERS INITIATED Commissioner Hirst asked about the
BY COMMISSION status of the foundations of the
MEMBERS Standard Pacific model homes. It was
confirmed that these foundations have
been removed.
Commissioner Hirst remarked that it
was his understanding from homeowners
that the salesmen don't explain the
City's policy regarding planning and
he suggested that sales brochures
should be approved by City bodies.
Commissioner Pereira felt that a gen-
eral area map should be displayed in
salesrooms for prospective buyers.
Mr. Castro suggested that a better
answer would be to have some sort of
informational display area at City
Hall. Chairman Garrigan thought that
the developers should put up a gen-
eral plan and zoning map and on their
literature have a notation to contact
City Hall if they have any questions

___.____~v._ _ -10-
~_._..d._...__._ '~,
