4y$~sA~T°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ~ '~~ <br />,~ <br />`~~° Planning Commission <br />....o <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : August lo, 1971 <br />Time ; s:oo PM <br />P~aCB: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />regarding schools, etc. Chairman <br />Garrigan thought the best thing to do <br />is to appoint a committee of Commis- <br />sioners and staff to look at the <br />brochures. Commissioners Pereira and <br />Hirst volunteered to represent the <br />Commission. <br />Commissioner Hirst discussed the down <br />town signs and the directive from the <br />City Engineer regarding this. The <br />staff was asked to check the sign on <br />the telephone pole at Vineyard and <br />First Street. The City Manager con- <br />firmed the fact that the no tresspass <br />ing sign on Longview Drive was taken <br />down this morning. <br />Mr. Castro was asked about the League <br />of California Cities in regard to <br />(their convention and if there would <br />'be any sessions pertinent to the <br />'.Commission. Mr. Castro has not yet <br />'received a brochure, but stated that <br />he would inform the Commission when <br />he did receive one. <br />Chairman Garrigan again asked that th <br />matter of the Telephone Company's pre <br />fix numbers be looked into. <br />Mr. Castro was asked to set up a tim <br />for the annual barbeque between the <br />Commission and City Staff. Commis- <br />sioner Hirst has offered his home fo <br />the occasion.
