q~$AS"N~~~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~o <br />.M.:o..~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data August 10, 1971 <br />Time : 8 : oo PM <br />Place: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Request for <br />time extension <br />Res. 1112 <br />approved <br />town being able to dial directly whil <br />the 846 prefixes are being charged a <br />toll call. The City Attorney agreed <br />to check into this further. <br />Donald E. Kortick - request for an <br />extension to the condition imposed <br />by the Planning Commission and City <br />Council regarding the demolition of <br />that property located at 604-608 Main <br />Street. Mr. Kortick was present. Mr. <br />Castro advised that all tenants have <br />been advised that the building is <br />scheduled for demolition. Mr. Kortic <br />explained that he has been working <br />with a major tenant to lease the <br />building, but he is not in a position <br />at this time to demolish and rebuild. <br />He requested one more year to tear it <br />down. Mr. Kortick said that he has <br />been negotiating with H.R. Block to <br />locate in the building but expects <br />that it will take some time to final- <br />ize any neogiations. Commissioner <br />Hirst asked if the building was for <br />sale now. Mr. Kortick replied that <br />it was. Commissioner Wood entered <br />a resolution that the applicant be <br />given an additional six months from <br />September 9, 1971, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Pons. The resolution pass- <br />ed with Commissioner Pereira and <br />Chairman Garrigan voting no. <br />REFERRALS FROM Review and consideration of the Parks <br />RECREATION AND and Recreation Commission in allowing <br />PARK COMMISSION mini-motor bikes at the Youth Sports <br />Park. Mr. Castro reported that since <br />the Commission considered this matter <br />a request from the Fairgrounds has <br />been received to locate one of these <br />mini bike riding areas west of the <br />Fairgrounds in the unpaved 50 acres <br />Resolution <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />X <br />-9- <br />
