4~$~s"N~~y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />••/ . ~ <br />.~ <br />~~*° Planning Commission <br />•xxso s <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />~ Gtg August 24, 1971 <br />Time : s:lo PM <br />Place; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />P.U.D.-70-2 <br />Denied, Res. <br />No. 1114 <br />Chairman Garrigan amended that to state that <br />the developer enter into negotiations with <br />the City to set up a program phase develop- <br />ment of the balance of the property. Com- <br />missioner Pereira seconded this, and this <br />amendment was passed unanimously. <br />The City Manager asked for clarification on <br />the tents tive map to be filed only on the <br />areas marked in red. The vote was then take <br />on the resolution and it was carried unanimo sly. <br />At this time the Commission called a five a <br />minute recess, <br />The Commission was reconvened. <br />The Tecton Company - Tentative Map 3346 and Resolution: <br />Tentative Development Plan review for P.U.D. Seconded: <br />70-2, a residential development consisting Ayes: <br />of multiple and single-family units. Said Noes• <br />development to be located on property des- Abstain• <br />cribed as Parcel 5-13, Block 2577, Book 946 Absent. <br />of the Alameda County Assessors Office, <br />containing 51.8 acres, more or less. Proper y <br />generally located on the east side of Sunol <br />Blvd. and north of the Mission Park developm nt. <br />Mr. Castro presented. a map display and dis- <br />cussed this project. He stated that he was <br />reluctant to recommend the additional multip e <br />as proposed by the applicant based on the fa t <br />that the lower portion of the Mission Park <br />development already had a high percentage of <br />multiple zoning. He further advised the <br />Commission that in his opinion the question <br />of whether or not either the I-P or the <br />Institutional District will develop within <br />the Mission Park is still a concern and if <br />such plans did not materialize it may resoly <br />into additional multiples in the very near <br />future. He indicated that he appreciates th <br />concern of the Commission and developer to <br />- 11 - <br />
