41'$ y <br />~s"N~° CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ~.~ • ~ • • <br />.~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />rrao t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : October 26, 1971 <br />Time : s:oo PM <br />PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Gary Patton was present and informed the <br />Commission that the staff will now be able <br />to maintain the hedge. Commissioner Wood <br />stated that the Pleasanton Junior Women's <br />Club will be able to help. <br />Res. No. 1130 World of Nations Pathway of Trees in Amador <br />Approved Valley Park. <br />Gary Patton stated that the Parks and Re- <br />creation Commission passed a resolution to <br />establish said pathway of trees and intends <br />to ask for donations, specifying the <br />appropriate species for local gorwing <br />conditions. <br />Chairman Garrigan entered a resolution to <br />support the Parks and Recreation resolution. <br />This was seconded and carried unanimously. <br />MATTERS FOR Mr. Castro reported on the Hayward Hills <br />INFORMATION OF Study. He said that a lot of people were <br />COMMISSION present at the meeting and expressed the <br />desire to have the hills remain as they are <br />now. He further stated that Pleasanton and <br />Hayward will keep in touch regarding this <br />matter. <br />Res. No. 1131 (Thrifty Drug Store's Grand Opening. <br />Approved <br />Mr. Castro reviewed the staff and Council's <br />action regarding the grand opening and state <br />that it was concluded that the opening could <br />not be made.
