He further informed the <br />Commission that this annexation is up for <br />consideration by Council on Monday. <br />Dick Braden of MacKay & Somps was present <br />with the applicant, H. C. Elliott, Jr. <br />Mr. Braden stated that the RM-2000 is not <br />the actual zoning. The actual zoning that <br />was granted is RM-4000 and the designation <br />is wrong on the map. <br />Mr. Braden stated that it is the intention <br />of the applicant to retain the RM-4000 des <br />and not rezone to R-1-6500. The applicant <br />is in full agreement with the other staff <br />recommendations. <br />There was considerable discussion regarding <br />recommending a zoning change on the multiple <br />area. After determining that the Council <br />should receive a recommendation regarding <br />this zoning before decision is made on the <br />annexation, Chairman Garrigan entered a <br />resolution to initiate zoning procedure <br />recommending that the RM-4000 be redesignate< <br />to R-1-6500 with regard to the balance of the <br />property. This was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hirst and carried unanimously. <br />It was further moved and seconded to contin <br />this tentative map until the next regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission, pending <br />a resolution of the Council regarding the <br />annexation. <br />Tent.
